They chose an auto-parts store on the Square of the Victims of Fascism. Perhaps because of the square’s contentious political history, it is one of a half dozen areas of downtown Zagreb that have witnessed what might be described as graffiti wars between the far right and far left. Graffiti is often written one over the other, with commentaries, criticisms, and interventions against earlier ones.
